Neighbor-to-Neighbor Teach-In on Supporting Immigrants

  • Local Economy 6028 College Avenue Oakland, CA, 94618 United States (map)

Given what we’re seeing in Minnesota and have seen in Los Angeles, Chicago, how do we get prepared for the prospective arrival of ICE in the Bay Area?

We'll learn to support immigrants now and to plan ahead for escalation. Learn from neighbors (people, just like you!) about priority ways to help now, and getting ready to respond quickly if (when) anti-immigrant attacks in the Bay Area increase. Ask questions, find out how you can be involved, and meet people doing the same. We all have a role to play, and we want to help you figure out yours! Come ready to reflect, respond, and commit to action.
