Storytime for Caregivers with Minna Dubin

  • Local Economy 6028 College Avenue Oakland, CA, 94618 United States (map)

Story time is great, no matter how it works. BUT, Patricia Zaballos brings you a literary series that’s for the caregivers, not the cared for. Each month a writer with a caregiving theme shares their work, chats about their reading, and ends with a book for the baby/toddler crowd. This month we’ll be joined by Minna Dubin, the author of Mom Rage: The Everyday Crisis of Modern Motherhood. Drawing on insights from moms across the spectrum of race, sexual orientation, and class, she offers practical tools to help readers disarm their rage in the moment, while never losing sight of the broader social change we need to stop raging for good.

Babies & toddlers welcome, but not required.

One-hour event; stay after for IRL connection!
