Where’s Waldo? …In Rockridge, of course!
Enjoy some hide-and-seek fun designed to encourage residents and visitors to get to know their Rockridge businesses! Finding Waldo is a wonderful way to support shopping local! There is no charge to participate and all ages are welcome.
Families will love joining the scavenger hunt to find the iconic children’s book character, with his red-and-white-striped shirt and black glasses, hidden in 25 local businesses.
To join in the fun, simply pick up a “Find Waldo Passport” at Pegasus Books (5560 College Avenue) or at one of the participating stores during the month of July. You can also download it here at home (be sure to include both pages stapled together).
Get a Stamp (ie. stamp, sticker, signature) on your passport from a shopkeeper where you find a miniature Waldo. Collecting store stamps at 20 or more businesses will entitle diligent seekers entry into prize drawings! On Thursday, July 31 at 6pm, Pegasus Books will host a Where’s Waldo party with treats for anyone who participated. Books, stickers, and prizes will be raffled! You don’t have to be present to win a prize, but we’d love for you to come!
