The premise of the game is that The Grand Museum of Art (a fictional museum) may have to close its doors forever. With the museum director jumping ship and an enormous hidden deficit to fix, players/curators must present grandiose exhibitions to increase visitor attendance, fill the coffers, and keep the museum from financial ruin. Each curator amasses popularity points by collecting famous artwork and presenting thematic exhibitions. Along the way, players will have to make exchanges, participate at auctions, and even steal from fellow curators to gain the most popularity points. In some cases, players will also have to answer trivia questions (serious or silly) in order to get their hands on their precious missing artwork. The curator with the most popular exhibitions will become the new Museum Director! A fun, simple and beautiful game to play, The Grand Museum of Art game includes:
